The Ray patting tank is a fairly new attraction at SeaWorld - and the first time I had been. I was a bit nervous to start with - but there were huge rays continually cruising up and down - within cm of the surface - seeming to want to be patted and touched. They have a huge tank and could be anywhere else - but they chose to cluster near where people were... it was a really special time for us.
They feel very soft and smooth.
