Marching at Anzac Day

As always we went to Dalveen and did the whole Anzac Day thing. Its the first time that Lilly has marched with me - she wore My Grandad Mitchells medals, I wore Uncle Jacks and Morgan wore my dads.

It was an unusually warm day - not even a frost in the morning!

It was heartening to have so many people come out and clap while the march went past. I can't but help have tears in my eyes most of the day.

The RSL was very quiet at lunch time - a shame as it used to be heaving.. I think next year we will go to one of the other cafes that was open along the street - as I have to agree with my parents - the food has gone down in quality dramatically -the service very slow.
