Very Much at Home

As a small concession to the heat and the pelting rain we often get, we have a bed inside for the dog.  I grew up having dogs only kept outside and still can't get used to having pets indoors.

Scruff has learnt very quickly to go straight to his bed and lay there.  I invite him in when I put the air con on as it really is stinking hot outside.  He is calm and a reassuring influence for me as I write.

 

And yes - I think the bed is one made for a much smaller dog - but that is not stopping him from curling up and claiming it.
