These markers are along the way, giving hope sometimes.. And despair others...(what??? Ive only done 1 km?? Hasn't it been ten???)
We got off to a good start this morning. Our rest day of 14 km. the next two days are just under twenty each.. Urggg. Miss Lilly is doing ok but only continuing as Age drags he behind him alot of the way.
As we walk, there are little stalls with fruit, coffee and softdrinks. Just in the forest.. Sometimes personed and sometimes as an honour system.
I've taken shots of a typical breakfast- mmmm in the sunshine. So delightful, I can even, for a moment forget everything thats going on.
More paths along tranquil waterways and elm forests. So beautiful.
The kids are walking well together. Age likes to walk alone and in silence. I tag along behind.
The fountains are sweet and regular.. - And comes in loads if shapes and forma.. water water everywhere...it is important as dehydration is a big issue.
Though not as soft a spot than yesterday, we managed a snooze in a field before getting to our Albourge. All tired and soooo thankful to be in bed and showered. Big days ahead.
