Age stable now - so big cheers..
After very tense first 24 hours, it was a relief to see Age sitting unsteadily admit ably up in bed with his cheeky eyes checking out all that was going on.
While his speech is still a little slow, he is taking everything in and is now stable with the brain swell. There was no need for a further MRI today, which means surgery is even further away. Yah!!!
He is able to speak in halting sentences but inserts weird unrelated words into sentences and not know he did it. He is really working on it and its wonderful to see such determination in his eyes. So proud of him.
He is still in ICU, - sadly you cant call as you not allowed phones in there. May be moved to neuro ward tomorrow but will let you all know. He still has nurse who sits by side to monitor every second and check every change. He has eaten very small thing ( rice pudding) for first time.
So basically, its all great news. Its a bit distressing to see all the tubes and lines all over him, but very necessary..
Some photos snapped of him snoozing.. Which is what he needs to do lots of to recover..
