At a typical English Fair

How frightfully English! The kids and I found a fair happening in one of the normally gated squares ( a beautiful garden space normally locked and not yo be used other than by local residents)

Greeting us was a Pimms table..

And then, beyond that was a coconut shy and tin can knock em down. I felt like I'd stepped into an Enid Blyton book.

To top it all off, to my delight, was a traditional Punch and Judy show. The kids were captivated...

The dialogue as classic.. So funny. I think I enjoyed the audience participation of 'oh No She isn't!' Etc more than than the show.

The kids decorated cakes and tried their hand at the duck bob. Beautiful weather!!!
