Urgghh.. I am just far too honest and a terrible liar to survive here in UK...
I've just driven 3 hours one way - to sort out drivers licence because I knew there would be issues changing my name, address and from a paper one into the plastic version. I took all documentation..and I needed photo ID for new - well my 'old' one - name ( only thing I had was Aussie licence)
I'd been warned not to show my Aussie licence as they may take it - but didn't realise by 'taking it' it mean for good. Far out.. Should have made some story up... But Miss goody two shoes fessed up and handed it over.. And now I have no drivers licence (Aussie or UK) and half my originals ID is in the dark abyss of a gov dept..sigh.... I will have to leave it in the hands of the Gods.
I can't even say the drive to Swansea was pleasant - or that we stopped of anywhere cool.. It rained and was a fairly miserable day... oh well.. better days ahead I know.
