A dear friend Sally, lives in Salisbury and we were able to spend the night with her today.
She lives in a gorgeous terrace house - four stories in all.
I was so lucky to have a bedroom all to myself - here in the attic. Isn't it gorgeous?
The kids were across the hallway from me and their dormer window looked out over the cathedral -something they were very excited to see.
We are coming back to see Sally around Easter - so looking forward to more than a rushed hello and goodbye.
