Wicken Fen - Norfolk

One of Britains oldest nature reserves, Wicken Fen is the most important wetland reserves in Europe.

The fenlands are completely untouched, having never been drained or ploughed in the thousands of years people have lived here.

We spent a few hours wandering from bird hide to bird hide; escaping the bitterly cold wind and rain only to be rewarded at times with golden sunshine.
