Into Aruza

Wow.. The heat has really turned it up today with the temperature reaching, I believe, 36.. Far out.

Lots of open country roads on bitumen and little shade- so you can imagine the hear radiating upward and downward all day.

Lots of stops and lots of water breaks. I have to admit softdrinks and icecreams were high on the list too. It is too hot to eat. Ikkk

Some shots from today.

I love signs graffitied like this. There was one waaaaay back near Ronsevalles which had 'don 't stop walking'..

Open roads and clear skys. The shit hanging off our packs now is amazing, water bottles, cups, shoes and socks.. I think we look ( and sound ) like rag men.

Trying really hard to be excited about passing the 40 km mark. Its too hot to care.

The hills keep rilling.. Nice and all.. But ever freaking ending...

Continuing my obsession with stine bridges..

At last in Aruza. We passed a bar with this enormous pot of paella. Its too hot toneat.. But man, this smelt so good.
