Bike riding round Ikworth Estate

With National Trust Passes, we have access to so many awesome places to visit.

Ikworth House is still closed ( most aren't open till April) - however the grounds and gardens were open to visitors. We may come back at some point to visit the treasures and artworks inside, but for now, we were delighted to take advantage of the sunshine and the bikes to explore the estate.

I am so proud of the kids. It was only a fortnight before we left to come to the UK that they learnt to ride a bike by themselves. This was the longest ride either of them had done - and we even got a lesson in on how to use gears.

Their laughter and encouragement to one another up and down the hills was enough for me to know it was a good day to be alive. We were out riding ( and walking up bigger hills) for about two and a half hours. A pretty good work out, espec for prep for the Camnio.

I took about a billion photos of suffolk sheep and us riding thought fields, so will share just a few of them here.
